Denise Sparhawk Lodge - Director of Project Management

Denise has 18 years of wide-ranging experience delivering complex systems-oriented projects for Fortune 500 clients. As the Director of Project Management and a Managing Director, she is responsible for leading key client engagements and managing NavigationArts' team of senior consultants. Both are integral roles that draws on her specific skills in business strategy, content strategy, brand management, and design. Denise has been lead consultant for such clients as Sallie Mae, Freddie Mac, General Dynamics, American Red Cross and the National Education Association.

Prior to joining NavigationArts, Denise was a Senior Account Director with Iconixx. As the company expanded, she worked to develop standard methodologies and practices to support several functions, including a consultative sales model and client education. She also managed major account relationships and oversaw multiple project teams for Citibank International, GEICO, Sallie Mae, Lincoln National, and others. Highlights from her time at Iconixx include a 22-country CMS implementation and rollout for Citibank Latin America.

Before Iconixx, Denise was a Senior Art Director at Invisions, where she gained diverse experience in the design and development of fully-integrated marketing and identity programs for clients such as USF&G, The George Washington University, The Washington Post Company, and GE Information Services. The programs included a range of solutions in Web development, identity and branding, interactive media, print media, and promotion.

Denise holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design with a minor in Computer Science from Arcadia University (Formerly Beaver College) in Philadelphia and is a member of the Design Management Institute. She is also a former ADDY award recipient and has published several pieces in American Corporate Identity, the annual publication that presents exceptional work from the nation's leading design firms.
